Installing Bee-Line

Start Windows 95 or Windows 98.

Place your Bee-Line CD in your CD-ROM drive.

Click the "Start" button, and select "Run".

Type D:\Install.exe (where "D" is your CD-ROM drive), and follow the on screen instructions.

Creating a shortcut for Bee-Line on the Windows Desktop

Click the "Start" button, and select "Programs", then "Windows Explorer".

On the left hand side click on the "Beeline" folder.

On the right hand side right-click on the Beeline.exe file, a drop down menu will appear. From that menu choose "Create Shortcut"

Next go to the "Edit" menu at the top and choose "copy".

On the right hand side (All Folders side), scroll to the top and click on "Desktop".

Go to the "Edit" menu and choose "Paste".

Finally, close Windows Explorer.

The Bee-Line shortcut is now on your Desktop. To access the Bee-Line browser program simply double-click on the Bee-Line icon.

Using the Bee-Line Browser Program

Place the Bee-Line CD in your CD-ROM drive.

Double-click on the Bee-Line icon located on your Desktop.

Click on the category that you wish to search in and press "OK"

Scroll through until you find the desired image and click on it. The image square will become black.

Next, go to the "File" menu and choose the "Save As…" option.

Type a file name.

By default the files will be saved in C:\Beeline. However you can change the directory if you wish.

Importing Images into Drawing and Sign Cutting Programs

The Bee-Line image are saved as .EPS files and therefore compatible with all drawing and sign cutting programs. Below are the importing procedures for some of the most popular programs.


ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR
(version 8)

Go to the "File" menu and choose "Open"dialog box will appear.

Change the "Look in" drop down to C:\Beeline or whichever directory you saved the file(s) in.

Change the "Files of type" drop down to "Illustrator EPS".

Click on the desired file and click on the "Open" button.

 

CORELDRAW (versions 7, 8 or 9)

Go to the "File" menu and choose "Import", a dialog box will appear.

Change the "Look in" drop down to C:\Beeline or whichever directory you saved the file(s) in.

Change the "Files of type" drop down to "PostScript Interpreted (PS,PRN,EPS).

Click on the desired file and click on the "Import" botton, another dialog box will appear.

Click on the "OK" button.

 

EuroVECTOR (version 1.0)

Go to the "File" menu and choose "Import", a dialog box will appear.

Change the "Folders" drop down to C:\Beeline or whichever directory you saved the file(s) in.

Change the "Files of type" drop down to "PostScript (*EPS,*AI).

Click on the desired file and click on the "OK" botton.

 

CASmate-Pro (version 5.0)

Go to the "File" menu and choose "Import", a dialog box will appear.

Change the "Directories" drop down to C:\Beeline or whichever directory you saved the file(s) in.

Change the "Files of type" drop down to "EPS"

Click on the desired file and click on the "OK" botton.

 

SignWizard (version 4.1)

Go to the "File" menu and choose "Import", a dialog box will appear.

Change the "Look in" drop down to C:\Beeline or whichever directory you saved the file(s) in.

Change the "Files of type" drop down to "EPS[*.EPS]".

Click on the desired file and click on the "Import" botton.

 

SignLab (version 4.95)

Go to the "File" menu and choose "Import", a dialog box will appear.

Change the "Directories" drop down to C:\Beeline or whichever directory you saved the file(s) in.

Change the "Files type" drop down to "EPS".

Click on the desired file and click on the "OK" botton.
